    Get them, excellent buy

Reviewed in the United States on August 22, 2026 · Color: Gloss Graydrift Frame, Smoke - Ocean Mirror | Size: Bifocal +1.50 · Verified Purchase

Best thing to buy when having to switch to reading glasses when dealing with fishing line, hooks or just needing to look up close when out in the sun.

These work great, you can't see the bifocal from the outside of the lense.

And the enjoyment of not having to put on those damn readers to see.

I have readers all over the place, and once I left without them fishing, OMG...."COULD YOU HELP ME WITH THIS LURE AND LINE?"

Never again, only thing that currently sux about getting older is eyesight and a nightly pee.

    Oakley convert

Husband loves these glasses! He has been an avid Oakley wearer for years, but since he is now having to wear readers, he needed something more convenient than putting cheaters on over his sunglasses! LOL!

    Great quality, great looking!

    Good Glasses

Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2024 · Color: Gloss Demi Frame, Brown - Chartreuse Mirror | Size: Bifocal +1.50 · Verified Purchase

They work well and fit well for me. My only issue is I scratched one lens even though I’ve been careful. I did order another pair though.

The bifocal is positioned out of the way but still easy to use for reading.

Bought One Pair, Ended Up Buying Several

These have become my go‑to bifocals. Clean lenses and you can’t tell from the front that they’re bifocals at all. They came with a nice case and cleaning cloth, and the quality is great. My wife even told me to buy a set for all of my vehicles..

    Worth the money!

Love the Kastking bifocals. Super comfortable. The frame material flexes so that really helps.

I have had other glasses that don't flex and they were uncomfortable and the lenses popped out or they broke at the bottom of the lense.

These are good if you rinse them and clean with a microfiber..... generally scratch resistant however if you put them up on your head and forget they are there and they fall off on the asphalt they will scratch... LOL, but that's on me.

I got the Chartreuse Mirror lense with the brown frame and the Gloss Graydrift Frame with the Smoke - Ocean Mirror lense. The Chartreuse lense does change colors a little bit and I find they make it harder for me to track and find golf balls. I do like them for driving as they don't change colors so much as to affect me telling red, yellow, green and actually enhance driving vision a bit. I prefer the Smoke-ocean mirror lense for golf. These just darken everything a bit and don't let much sun through so best in bright sun. Both provide sharp clear vision.

So these are great with a hat as they are more round at the corners so they fit better under the brim. I have the Kastking Waccamaw too and those are great without a hat, they hit the sides of the brim cause they are a little square at the top corners.

Compares with Expensive Readers costing 4 to 5 times as much

Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2025 · Color: Gloss Graydrift Frame, Smoke - Ocean Mirror | Size: Bifocal +1.50 · Verified Purchase

I have been wearing sunglass readers for well over a decade. My experience has shown that there are 2 types of sunglass reader options. Very expensive and Cheaply made. Until now, every purchase of a "budget" brand has resulted in disappointment, being cheaply built and seem to have visual distortions that make them undesirable. So I have been sticking with the Maui Jim's and Costa's. I am hard on sunglasses, leave them laying around, lose and break them, so the $250 versions are tough when this happens. Also, Costa sold out a few years ago and it just seems like the lenses scratch or get damaged easy and Maui Jim also sold out recently as well.

So I ordered a pair of Cast Kings about one month ago. The style was very similar to the Costa's that I have. They are every bit as comfortable as the Costa's or Maui JIm sunglasses. The visual acuity is also excellent noticing no difference in quality as compared to the previously mentioned brands.

Will the coatings last as long? I don't know yet, but I can say after about one month of use in dusty conditions, there was no visual degradation of coatings. This is why I recently ordered and received a second pair. When you consider that these are about 20%-to 25% of the cost of those other brands, Cast Kings are a no-brainer

These are so much nicer than I expected. My husband has a larger head and they fit great and best of all he can read with them on. Very good quality!
