Straw Water Filter 5 Pack - Outdoor Camping & Hiking Survival Gear

Great product.

I purchased this 5-pack of straw water filters to add to my emergency preparedness kit, and they’re a great item to have on hand. Having a compact, portable water filtration option provides extra peace of mind in case of an emergency, natural disaster, or situation where clean drinking water may not be readily available. The lightweight design makes them easy to store in an emergency bag, keep in the car, or take along on camping and hiking trips. I also like having multiple filters so there are extras available for family members. Hopefully, I’ll never need to use them in an emergency, but it’s reassuring to be prepared. A practical addition to any emergency kit!

I bought this water filter for backcountry hunting and it worked great! It had next day shipping and it also can connect to a regular water bottle. The bag that comes with it is not very big but you can easily upgrade with most of the soft folding clear plastic water bottles available on Amazon. Also if needed you can just use any regular water bottle as a dirty bottle. The small bag is nice when filling it up in a small drainage where there's not a big creek or river to fill up from. I found that the bag that came with it would take about 3 bags full to fill up each of my 1 liter hydrapak's. So far I have used this little filter for 4 days straight while on a backpacking hunting trip and no issues. Heading out again next week and will be using again.

I haven't tried them out yet. The quality seems ok. I would compare them to a Sawyer mini. You get 4 filters, 1 long piece of tubing to cut into straws for each unit. 4 syringes for cleaning and 1 reusable water storage bag with a carabiner. 4 bags would have been nice as would another piece of tubing for longer straws. Personally I chose these filters because you can fix them to water or soda(pop if you live in areas where its called pop...no judgements here) bottles to use instead of a straw. I want to test the gravity feed if using bottles. You can squeeze said bottles as is instructed. These filters dont claim to filter out crypto sparidium so that is something to think about. If you are getting water from a running water source I think you would be ok. For 30 ish dollars I felt good about this purchase. 3 went into get home bags and I will test the fourth one to really put it through its paces. Each filter is rated for 5000 liters. That is impressive.

Haven’t had to use it but best believe I am glad that if it came down to the nitty gritty I’m grateful I won’t go thirsty! Great to have on your buyout bag/car/etc. Because you’d rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!

I bought this straw to keep in emergency bug out bag at home just in case. I actually tried it by running a few *at home tests on not so pure 100% water and this straw really works! I think Im going to buy a few more for future use. Directions for use is simple and does what it's supposed to do. Ill be buying more.

Worked great to filter out the masterfluid of my lava lamps. I filtered 3 of them and they look a ton better.

Got these for the Zombie apocalypse. Tested one and it worked fine. Now will see what happens when zombies are chasing you and you need to filter water.
