This is the best monitor I have ever used!
My son was gifted one four years ago author’s the big screen monitor. I wanted more cameras to see blind spots in his room. So glad we got a monitor now. I love the split screen option so i can see the full room or if we have another we can move one camera to the other room. Alerts us on movement and room temperature. Super easy to set up. Great value when it’s on sale.

The Nanit Pro Camera hardware itself is undeniably impressive. The video quality is crisp, the night vision is excellent, and the physical setup feels high-end.
However, any technical praise is completely overshadowed by Nanit’s predatory, anti-consumer subscription model. What could be the ultimate parenting tool has instead become a masterclass in corporate greed and nickel-diming exhausted parents.
The Multi-Camera Subscription Trap
If you have twins or plan on having a second child, brace your wallet. Nanit forces you to buy a completely separate subscription for every single camera you own. There is no discounted "family plan" or multi-device bundle. If you want basic features like video history, sleep analytics, or standard notifications for two kids, you are forced to pay double. Running multiple cameras on one account feels like a luxury tax designed purely to exploit growing families.
Held Hostage by a Paywall
Nanit markets this as a smart monitor, but it is effectively a paperweight unless you fork over an additional $100 to $300 a year per camera. If you refuse to pay their exorbitant annual fee:
• You lose all video history.
• You lose the sleep tracking that you bought the camera for in the first place.
• You are locked out of sharing the feed with more than two people (forget letting both parents and a grandma look at the app).
Without the subscription, a $400+ camera turns into a glorified, basic audio monitor that does less than a standard $30 discount brand.
The Bottom Line
It is deeply disappointing that a company targeting new parents, who are already facing massive expenses, chooses to lock core, expected functionalities behind an aggressive, recurring paywall. Forcing independent subscriptions per camera is a blatant cash grab. If you object to being subscription-fatigued and financially drained just to keep tabs on your children, look elsewhere. Brands like Infant Optics or Eufy offer excellent monitoring without treating their customers like endless piggy banks.
For the grandson and the love it! They let me access camera to see him too . Love this and his parents do too! Too early to tell if baby likes it but he does ham for the cam sometimes!
Very nice product
This is my third time purchasing this baby monitor. This is a hill I will die on for all parents. You need this system. It has saved me a lot anxiety. It has been the most used product of mine and I still use it for my almost 6 year old.

Love this so much. Gives me a piece of mind and I love that I can check on my baby with my phone from anywhere while the babysitter can still have a monitor to watch.
Bought this for my daughter when they were having their second child. They are able to have a split screen to see both children at night in their rooms. It is a life saver and brings great comfort in being able to monitor both kids on one screen. No problems with connectivity or interrupted connectivity.,
