FAO Schwarz Hudson Tote Bag, Kids Purse with Shoulder Strap & Charms

The cutest bag! I bought this for my 5yr old niece. This version of the luxury designer bag is perfect and I love that it comes with a crossbody strap. Perfect for little ones who want to keep their hands free when out and about. The details of this bag are so good and it looks classy. Great price too.

My daughter is IN LOVE with this purse! She is 8 years old. We got it just a few days ago, and she has gotten complimented on it multiple times already. My mom said it's basically a kids version of a very elite Hermes bag.

It's basically a real, functional bag that can be used as a handbag or a shoulder bag. Unfortunately, the longer strap is NOT removable, only can be folded inside the bag. The longer strap is also definitely long enough to pose a hazard, so please be careful with young children or when doing active play.

It's very stiff in a good way, but maybe too much for some. The clasp is definitely going to challenge any young children, you need to layer the closure flap and the buckle straps in the right order, place the locking knob through each layer, then turn the lock to hold it in place. That said, it is quite secure. My daughter likes that it can't just be accessed without all those steps.

The capacity is pretty small. But my daughter holds her card wallet, 3 lip balms, a claw clip, a few scrunchies, a chunky bracelet, and hand sanitizer with a little extra room. So, enough for essentials. A phone would fit with no problem. But a phone and adult sized wallet maybe not, or at least it would be tight without a lot of room for other items.

My daughter, bless her heart, doesn't like the pink pom. Unfortunately, it's not removable, so we had to cut it off. I think she'll probably add a charm of her own preference.

There is only one main compartment, so nothing crazy in terms of storage, but it keeps it simple.

Overall, it's super cute and pretty functional. The build quality is also very good. It's just not very customizable.

Okay, this FAO Schwarz Hudson Tote Bag is just plain cute! 😍 The first thing that caught my attention was the fun design and the included charms. It has that adorable little purse/bag appearance that makes it feel like a special accessory rather than just another children's tote.

The overall quality exceeded my expectations. The material feels sturdy enough for everyday use while still being lightweight enough for a child to comfortably carry. The stitching looks neat, and the bag has a structured appearance without being stiff. The charms add a fun decorative element and give the bag some personality.

Using the five senses, the tote has a colorful and playful appearance, the material feels smooth and durable, there was no strong unpleasant odor when opening it, the size is appropriate for carrying small personal belongings, and the charms make a little sound when they move around, but nothing loud or annoying.

The usability is excellent. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry hands-free, while the tote style gives a child plenty of room for little essentials, toys, snacks, or accessories. It's also lightweight enough that the bag itself doesn't add unnecessary weight.

This is a really cute purse and honestly looks much nicer in person than I was expecting for a kids' bag. It has the look of a real grown-up handbag, just made in a smaller size, which I think is a big part of the appeal. The bright pink color is fun without looking too babyish, and the little gold FAO charm and fluffy pom-pom are adorable details.

I was also pleasantly surprised by how sturdy it feels. It holds its shape instead of collapsing when you put it down, and there is actually a decent amount of room inside for a kids' purse. You can easily fit little things like sunglasses, a small wallet, lip balm, hair accessories and whatever other tiny treasures somehow become absolutely necessary to carry around. 😆

I really like that it has both the shorter handles and the longer strap. It makes it much more usable because it can be carried like a regular handbag or worn with the longer strap when they want their hands free. The hardware and stitching on ours looked good and overall it doesn't have that flimsy toy-purse feel.

This would be really cute for dress-up, but I can also see a child actually wanting to carry it when going out because it looks and feels more like a real purse. For the price, I was impressed with it. Very cute, surprisingly well made and definitely something I would give as a gift.

Oh, this is absolutely adorable! The perfect little handbag for a princess who loves to dress up and feel fancy! Super, cute petite purse designed for play, but made quite well for that purpose. Suitable for littles and not so little, this is a fun, semi-functional (it opens and you can actually carry small things in it) little bag, that has a lot of style and good little girl appeal. Good for dress up or storing small treasures. Can see little girls up to 10-11 being charmed by this one, and can also see teens and young adults carrying it as a bit of a goof for going out. (The whole baby doll aesthetic.) Say that because, while it's far from luxury goods, it's made well enough that it's as much purse as play, and really does look good.

This is a cute little play purse! So others can learn from my mistake, be careful when removing the plastic piece holding the handles together. I accidentally sliced a tiny nick into one.

The purse is cute, and the faux leather is fairly convincing with its texture. The interior of the purse is lined with white fabric, though the flap back is faux leather. The bag charm is very cute, and it's nice that it is real metal. The details are great--there are even "feet" on the bottom of the bag!

Though it's a play purse, it's still functional, and can hold small items like a phone. It's nice as is, but there are a couple of things that I think could be better. One is that the capacity is fairly small, so it would be nice if the optional strap were easily detachable in order to increase the space inside the purse (when not in use, it goes inside and takes up space). The second thing is that it is a bit complicated to open and close. To explain the opening: you turn the latch, pull up the right strap, pull up the left strap, pull up the main flap. This is done in reverse to close it.

Other than these two things, though, I think it's cute, especially with all of its little details.

Absolutely beautiful FAO Schwartz tote bag. So her name is Hudson shes white with gold hardware by the way she also has little gold feet if you know you know so that way when you place her down on a surface shes upright and doesnt tip over, with a hot pink pom pom, FAO and a little charm their part of the bag they cant be removed from the bag. She has a handle you can carry or a shoulder strap that isnt removable would have been nice to be able to take off if you wanted to. To open the bag it may be tricky for some you have to pull the two straps from the buckle and then you can flip the opening up to open the bag if that makes sense. The inside isnt that big my daughter used it for church on Sunday and she put her chapstick, small compact, some loose little resin animals and her phone that took up all the space lol. Overall its a cute funtional bag its a faux leather that seems like good quality and an awesome value aswell. My daughter loved it!
