This girls sweatshirt is made from a sturdy but, soft waffle knit fabric. I chose the pink one!

It's a breathable textured material.

This pullover sweatshirt offers a cozy, soft feel while providing comfort & warmth.

It's perfect for the cooler days of Autumn or chilly summer evenings out.

As you can see in my photos, it has a half zipper in the front w/a cute lil stand up collar. It can be worn totally unzipped over a tank or T-shirt. And when we do get those occasional chilly evenings, it can remain zipped!

It has long sleeves with a thick banding around each sleeve and it even has those coveted, lil thumb holes, which is a MUCH LOVED feature among kids & teens. It has a thinner elastic band at the waistline which keeps it warm & snug on the body! It has slightly dropped shoulder seams and the second best feature of all; 2 pockets in the front, one on each side but angled toward the front.

This lil pullover is versatile as well bc it can be worn with jeans, leggings/jeggings and/or matching sweats.

For a less casual, more dressy occasion, you can pair it with a skort or a skirt w/tights and boots instead of tennis shoes or sandals; although they'd all look simply adorable!

I think it’s great value for the money!

I've read that the manufacturer recommends you machine wash the garment on the gentle cycle in cool water and then line dry or lay flat til completely dry.

Helpful tip: For decades, I've had great success putting newer clothing in the dryer for 6-8 on med heat, just to release wrinkles. I then transfer to a hanger on the clothes line: (indoors or out) until totally dry!

My great niece is 10 & I ordered a sz up: 12-14 bc she has a thin athletic build and she's getting tall. Her legs are super long which, tbh, is the main reason I order one size up! I'd rather have it be a tad too big than too small.

This is a really cute half-zip cropped sweatshirt in a waffle knit texture, and I was pretty happy with it overall. I ordered the 13-14 year size in purple for a teen and the fit and style came out great.

The waffle knit fabric has a nice texture to it. It is soft against the skin and not scratchy at all, which is sometimes a problem with synthetic-heavy fabrics. The 70/30 polyester-cotton blend gives it a good balance of softness and structure, and it did not feel overly stiff or flimsy. The cropped length hits right at the waist, which is very much the current style preference for the teen/tween crowd.

The half-zip design goes about halfway up the front and has a clean stand collar that looks neat whether zipped or unzipped. The thumb holes are a nice functional detail that keeps the sleeves in place and adds a cozy layering feel. The side pockets are also a great addition since so many cropped tops skip pockets entirely.

Fit-wise, the 13-14 size was true to size and not boxy. It has a relaxed but tailored enough fit that it looks intentional rather than just oversized. It layered well over a fitted long-sleeve shirt or under a lightweight jacket.

The color in person matched the listing photo well. Machine wash held up fine without pilling or stretching after the first couple of washes.
