aosu 2K Solar Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor System, 6-Cam-Kit

I purchased the base system and four of the Aosu solar cameras and they were delivered on time and they were a great deal. I read the reviews and the reviews told me that folks were very pleased with the products that is offered by Aosu. I was able to get three of the four cameras installed at the locations on the property that I needed to monitor. I tried to get the forth camera up and going and it would only send and receive information to the base system around six feet from the base system. I tried various places on the property that use the security camera and the little camera just was not working properly. I called the Aosu support and visited with a representative and we covered all the areas that could effect the camera and base system. Within a few hours I received a email stating that the company had placed a order for a new camera to be delivered to my house and it is scheduled to arrive next week. Folks, if you are looking for a security camera company that offers wonderful equipment and great support agents , look no further. I totally recommend anyone who's looking for a security camera system that delivers great videos and pictures and the cameras that I have installed currently are around one feet or more from the base system. I'm guessing the distance folks and these could easily be further. Once my wife and I reviewed the pictures and videos, we were so pleased to have such a tool to monitor our property.

We've only had our cameras up for 5 days now, but so far, they're great. Does everything they said they would do. Have to turn the sensor alarm off during the day. We have new condos and knew neighbors and kids! Love kids but they are afraid of the alarm. So if we go away from the house and we get the signal or message that someone in from of the house, we can turn the alarm on at a glance and scare them away if need be or just yell! If your a woman you change your voice to a man's voice.

So far they're just great! And the clarity at night is unreal. And you can separate people motion from animal motion and the camera will tell you if it's a person so you don't have to keep monitoring because a couple of squirrels are in your driveway or the neighbors' cat just sat on your porch. Lol! Well worth the money. Even got one in the kitchen so I can see whose raiding the frig. Some of us are supposed to be on diet! Lol! And the pictures are beautiful watching the sun go down over your backyard, across the water, because you're not home to see it live. Great buy! Give them a try!

Hi it's July now and I'm a little disappointed with my cameras. Mainly because the power drains so easily. Even with the sensors low the storage fills up very quickly. And if you watch your feed over 3 mins, it automatically takes you back to the beginning. Worst part, been busy with lots of medical stuff so now it's too late to return to get the ones I should have gotten. If the company can do something about the limited power source, and how fast the storage fills, they would be great. Maybe that's why it's so convenient to order their cloud as well.

I like the flexibility and versatility the solar power and wireless connectivity provides and the local storage. I like the ability to time when individual cameras turn on and off. I like being able to delete "events" (videos) in bulk, although it often takes several attempts to delete them. Connectivity is decent although not perfect (which may account for the event deletion issue?). Video quality is good and a light comes on at night that provides color videos. It is fairly easy to install and set up. Not all movement triggers the cams: can be somewhat hit or miss, such as sometimes it triggers when a delivery person walks up the driveway at the edge of the frame and sometimes it doesn't. Lately, it has so I'm wondering if the routine camera firmware updates are helping? In any event, I'm relatively pleased.

I was looking for a discreet, compact, outdoor security camera to supplement my existing security camera setup that wouldn’t need to be plugged into a power outlet; but instead could be powered by the sun. I was looking for the cleanest, most simplest install I could find—one that didn’t require me to run another long Ethernet cable (I have two 4K POE “Power Over Ethernet” cameras already running which do not have WiFi capability)—in other words, I wanted to go totally WIRE-FREE for this install. I planned on putting this camera at the far-end of my home to cover my backyard patio door. It also needed to have decent picture quality, a micro-SD slot for memory, the ability to withstand outside elements, AND not cost me an arm and a leg (or any other body part.) A pretty big list of demands, I know! So I was not really expecting to find anything close to what I wanted while being cost-effective.

But, lo-and-behold, the camera gods have answered my prayers! And thus, I happened across this wonderful little camera that had everything I was looking for, and more! First what blew me away was the price. For just under $40, you get this awesome little outdoor camera that’s packed tight with lots of features. Second, it comes with its own little solar panel, all the mounting hardware, and a usb-c charging cord. This camera’s design is also much more aesthetically appealing than a lot of the other options I was considering which was great! Even the solar panel is well-designed, and is not an ugly eye sore. The picture quality is not incredibly detailed but it’s not horrible, it’s actually pretty decent for 2K. I’ve included a screenshot so you can decide for yourself. I’ve seen worse picture quality in higher priced cameras though to be honest!

Setup was very simple, and the WiFi connection is still stable at a far distance from my router. The WiFi connection strength in the app shows 96% signal strength, even though my router is located far inside near the opposite end of the house with multiple walls and obstructions, etc. Of course it helps to have a strong performing router, so your numbers might vary here. But I was still very impressed with the quality of the signal and the camera’s ability to maintain a solid connection, which is critical for being able to capture events and such.

The solar panel also comes with its own mounting hardware. I was also equally impressed by its power output; once you have it correctly installed and facing the sun in the right direction, plug this into the camera and you’ll never need to worry about it losing power. Set it and forget it!

Now of course this camera is not as powerful as say the 4K POE cameras I have installed at the front of my house, which come with many more high-performance features and the high resolution needed to read license plates and all that. But for under $40 you can’t go wrong. If you’re looking to supplement an existing setup, this is a great option to mix with your better performing cameras for areas on your property that require an extra pair of eyes, and all you have to do is “set it and forget it.” It’s also a great camera for anyone looking for a low cost option, but still wants a decent picture quality and extra features. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Im assuming they didn't like my review, my camera won't even pick up my truck or wife's car leaving for work but yet has constantly sent me notifications all day of nothing. It won't stop going off and recording...sometimes the leaf moves and other time nothing moves

They push the no subscription service in advertising yet they do push a subscription when you activate the camera system and it does require a subscription for the smart features like tags and detection settings along with other features. The subscription price is a rip off and over priced.

The motion detection is ridiculously sensitive at times and will pick up leaf movement which sends you a ridiculous amount of notifications and videos to go through and delete. It wouldn't be as aggravating if the video would actually delete when you do go through the ridiculous amount and try to manually delete but instead it freezes and about a minute later says error deleting video. Other accounts the cameras don't even detect my work truck pulling in and leaving the house or my son and nephew riding their dirtbike. Ive only had the system up for 4 days now and not satisfied at all. On another note, it says the camera will auto adjust to sensitivity on things not needed to record but again it detects a leaf move but not my dogs, kids on dirtbikes and sometimes my large work truck. A few occasions it started recording to late and only caught the back end even though the camera is facing down my driveway. Some of the video is like its in fast forward mode and some are not.

Another note, the mount isn't a good design. My camera fell off the mount when securing the solar panel next to it.

All that being said, it might or might not catch someone doing something on your property so think on it and shop around. Not sure how others have such good reviews on this system

Love these cameras. Set up was very easy with clear instructions. The cameras are easy to mount and the cable from the solar panel to the camera is long enough so the don't have to be right next to each other. Even the free version has great features like distinguishing between people and cars. Video is clear with enough local storage for my needs and the detection is responsive and quick. No problem with battery life either.

These cameras are a great value and work very well. The setup is easy enough that I was able to install them and set them up myself within a few hours. The app is user friendly and the adjustability of being able to pause for a given time or 2 to 12 hours is awesome. The solar panels work great to keep the camera batteries charged. The service after the sale is what impressed me the most. I had a minor issue and was able to get it solved quickly as they have warehouses in the USA for fast customer support. Daisy was the representative in customer service who helped me with my problem, and I have never seen a company that I would give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ +⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ until I had Daisy help me. I am 110 % satisfied with the product and even more satisfied with the customer service that I received.

I have had my camera since 2023.

It has been a very nice camera. It spend maybe a year out of use after I moved, we bought it to watch out egg stand because we had people stealing and wanted a deterrent. Which it worked well for. Then we moved, and at this house it lives under the front porch. However, I am not sure what happened here recently but the solar panel has stopped charging the camera, and the camera is no longer reading the SD card in the camera.

I will try removing the SD card tonight and reinstalling it and see if that gets it working again or not. The camera itself gets 0 exposure to weather other that hot/cold (No rain/snow can touch it). The Solar panel is a foot or so away screwed into my siding and has worked well for the last year or so where it has been. We live in Northern Indiana so it is a rough climate, but I would think it would last longer than this, it has a very nice build quality and the solar panel looks like new and gets plenty of sunshine.

Plan on contacting the seller, I doubt they will do anything. I just wish I knew what happened to give it these issues. I might buy it again, it has been very nice while it has been working. I noticed the price right now (4/27/2026) is lower than when I bought it originally in 2023.

I have it plugged into a wall charger currently and it is powered up and sending me notifications. I can't view the events though since it doesn't recognize the micro SD card.

I have never used their cloud service, so I couldn't tell you how good that is/isn't. Seems pretty high price wise for the cloud service, I picked this one because of the micro SD card storage option.
