BOB AND BRAD T2 Pro Deep Tissue Massage Gun with Heat and Cold for Athletes

I already had a Theragun and love that thing. During Prime Day, I saw a review on this that said it was as strong as my Theragun so I decided to try it. For only $90 it was worth a try. I still prefer my Theragun but this one is much better than I expected. The motor is strong and I can really press into my muscles if I need to. There are 5 speeds and it is pretty simple to use and change gears. It’s also very quiet compared to the Theragun and it charges via a USB C cable so I can use any charger I have.

There are 2 things that I prefer the Theragun for and one I prefer this one for. The Theragun had more travel in the head. Because of this, it can get cramps out of my calf that the T2 just can’t get to. The Theragun also has the triangular handle that really allows me to dig into my calf in a way I can’t do with the T2. However, the T2 is better for more tender areas. I can also cramp in my thigh. The Theragun often gets too deep and can irritate this area. For me, the T2 works much better here and I’m glad I have it.

If you can get it under $100, it’s a steal. My very first massage gun cost me $60 and was terrible. It had no power. This gun is strong, charges quickly and lasts for 30+ on a charge. I’m very happy with it and recommend it for certain things. However, if you have muscles that cramp hard and need something that can go deeper, the Theragun is worth the money.

I’ve only owned T2 a couple hours and hope I don’t have to edit my review due to faulty battery performance, as that’s the only possible deficit I can foresee. I was skeptical of the instruction’s guidelines of short treatment times, “like ya right they don’t know MY jacked up bod, ima need an hour jack hammering on 1 spot if it’ll even hang!”

I’m 50, aching, multiple major surgeries to lumbar, cervical & knee, hardware, fusions, ADRs, etc. A drunk hit me on my motorcycle, a North Shore wipeout fractured my sacrum, and I play hard.

My $200 Brookstone massager died after 20 years and the research rabbit hole led me here. I own/have owned & used many PT medical devices & spent years in PT care. With a license I could open a PT practice tomorrow!

For $75 (or $99) I cannot imagine a higher quality option. The moment I saw the build quality, thoughtfully designed heads & attachment design I knew it was made by PTs. The power is more than sufficient for my demanding 6’1” tight man frame, and very convenient ergonomic design for self administered therapy. Happy Father’s Day to me, I’m stoked!!

This is a well built, sturdy massager. The hot/cold feature isn’t a reason to purchase and haven’t used it. But for every other aspect it works above expectations. Certainly worth the price.

I bought my Bob and Brad massage gun June of 2023 for my achilleas tendonitis and occasional muscle tightness and stress. It has done wonders in relaxing the muscles and helping aches and pains, especially on my legs. I use it practically every night before going to bed and gives me such relief. It's been worth every penny spent on it! The quality of this massage gun is solid and well made and comes in a very nice carrying case, making it easy to travel with. The only thing I"d change is when using it, it shuts off after 10 minutes but I believe it does that purposely in order to not overuse it on ourselves at one time. It's easy to use and has various attachments for various needs which I find very helpful. I have recommend this product to a family member and after doing much research, he ended up buying a Bob and Brad massage gun and absolutley loves it!

Recently, my massager wouldn't charge so I called customer service. I can't say enough for the efficiency, care and attention they showed. They immediately addressed the issue with a REAL person answering the phone and then through email, they have responded to every single message I sent, and they are taking care of the issue. To me, that is HUGE!

It's for these reasons I would highly recommend the Bob and Brad massage gun! It's quality, ease of use, functionality AND customer service, which is the icing on the cake, make it top notch!

Previous to purchasing this, I had a Vybe Massage Gun (light blue version) and a Vybe Pro. The light blue Vybe massage gun was in a class of its own in terms of strength and power, however it was so loud my neighbors would complain. The Vybe Pro is very similar to Bob and Brad T2 Pro so that would be a good comparison.

The T2 is the quietest massage gun I’ve owned. Power, strength, speed, stroke depth/amplitude are all really good. I’m grateful they include a package of replacement silicone rings as those will deteriorate with time, big perk here! The heating/cooling element is interesting. It definitely gets hot or cold, however once applied to the skin I feel like the hot/cold quickly dissipates so it’s not as effective as I had hoped. However, still a cool feature!

For such a low price point and the quality of the T2, this really is a steal. I highly recommend it and hope this review helps others!

Used for a while, it’s better than I expected. It feels solid in the hand with some weight to it, but not heavy or tiring to use. The power is more than enough, and it works well on both shoulders and back. Adjusting the settings is easy too.

The heat function is really comfortable, especially when muscles are sore. After using it, I can definitely feel more relaxed. The noise level is reasonable and totally fine for home use.

The massage heads are actually useful, not just for show. Switching between them helps target different areas.

So far I haven’t had any issues. It offers good value for the price and is great for relaxing or using after workouts.

I had a less expensive massager that I was given as a gift a couple of years ago. It was never quiet, but it started getting super loud. After much research and searching around on Amazon, I decided to give Bob & Brad's T2 massage gun a try. The difference is night and day. First, the quality of the gun is top notch. It feels very premium and comes with all the heads I need. I was anxious to turn it on (user tip: to power up, press and hold the button for 2 seconds... then you adjust the speed with additional presses of the same button) and when I did, it was so quiet, I thought, well it must not be as strong as the last one. Wrong! It's more powerful, I use it on a lower setting than my previous gun, and it feels like it's getting deeper but I still don't feel that it's TOO intense.

I'm so happy with this gun because I don't have to turn up the TV to hear over it if I'm using it while I'm watching a show. And also the convenience of using a USB-C charging cable to charge rather than using a dedicated charger is very nice and means less to keep track of if using it on a trip. I would recommend this gun for the price and the quality to anyone that asks.
