I really wanted this shirt to work for me because I love almost everything about it — the color, material, feel, quality and overall style. I am returning mine, but I am still giving it 5 stars because the reason it does not work for me is about my body type and personal comfort level rather than a problem with the shirt itself.
I am larger-busted than average, and this fitted style emphasizes my chest more than I personally feel comfortable with. Someone who likes a more body-conscious fit may feel completely differently.
I have purchased shirts like these for my adult daughter in a Small over the years, and she loves them. I also love how they look on her. She can wear them to the office, casually, or dressed up, which is one of the reasons I think this type of shirt makes such a useful wardrobe staple.
What I like:

• Material is relatively thin but does not feel flimsy

The coffee color is particularly pretty. It is warm and rich without being difficult to coordinate, and I think it would work beautifully with denim, black, cream and other fall neutrals.
I also really like the material. It is thinner, but the ribbed texture gives it more presence than a basic thin tee. It feels soft and comfortable while still looking neat enough to dress up.
Wrinkles have not been much of a concern for me with this type of shirt. Because the material is fitted and stretches smoothly over the body, the minor wrinkles it may have tend to disappear once it is on.
I also have a laundry habit that helps with this. For shirts like these, I usually take them out of the dryer during the last few minutes while they may still feel just slightly damp and hang them to finish drying. I find that helps keep them looking fairly wrinkle-free. I also prefer doing this because I do not like to over-dry fitted clothing — it helps me avoid unnecessary shrinkage and, in my experience, keeps the material looking and feeling nicer with less wear over time.
Things to be aware of:
• This is definitely a fitted style
• If you are fuller through the bust, it may fit more closely and emphasize your shape more than you prefer
• I am returning mine for that reason
• The fit issue is personal to my proportions and not something I consider a flaw in the shirt
• If you prefer a loose or relaxed fit, this probably is not the style you are looking for
• The material is not thick, although the ribbed texture gives it more substance than I expected
Overall:
I am genuinely disappointed that this shirt does not work better for my body type because I was already thinking about buying it in several of the other colors.
The material feels good, the ribbed texture gives it a polished look, the coffee color is beautiful, and it is one of those basic pieces that could be worn in many different ways. It can stand on its own with jeans or dress pants, work nicely in an office, or be layered with sweaters, shawls, scarves and jewelry.
I have seen how versatile this style has been for my daughter, and I will absolutely continue buying them for her.
For the quality, material, look and versatility, I think this is an excellent value. Unfortunately, the fitted cut just is not the right match for my particular body type — but I still think the shirt itself deserves 5 stars.
