Luxe Color Changing Foundation for Mature Skin, Color Matching, Medium

June 03, 2026 This foundation is totally awesome!! I'm female, age 52 and caucasian, dark hair and I was skeptical about foundations, bc I have been using Laura Geller's foundation powder for for over 25 plus years and at $40 a pop it adds up and I figured why not give this a try

I was nervous bc I have not used an actual liquid makeup in more than 25-28 years. This goes on white, which by the way I love. Anyhow, this truly matched with my skin tones and I can not tell which is which. I mean its a perfect match

I have medium to olive skin and like I said I am 52 with an over 300 lbs weight loss and I am finding myself again and this foundation is a forever in my life

If your hesitant, don't be. It truly matched what my skin tone should be if I had flawless skin. It does blur out any imperfections. My pores looked great. I do not have any hyper-pigmintion, freckles, acne marks. I do however have about 3/4 sun/age marks, but there small and only I know their there and this blurs them

Its soft on my skin, doesn't transfer. Im born and raised CO and we are now into the low 90 degree temps and this makeup doesn't sit on my skin like most foundations do when you sweat

This literally looks flawless. I did buy another at a great deal and I will build more. I do have lots of my Laura Geller powder makeup and I have been using it with this foundation to build more glow or color bc I use self tanners and I want to match my body and blend everything

I would say if your on the fence...dont be. I was and took a chance. If it doesnt work out, return it, but what happens if it does work and you love it like I do!

Mature ladies, just give this a try. I see so mant beautiful againg ladies who wear heavy foundations and it goes right into every wrinkle and crinkle of our skin and this blends and blurs into our wrinkle instead of emphasizing these areas

I got the medium shade. I hope Luxe comes out with a slightly darker shade eventually

We all know the color changing thing is a gimmick (or else they wouldn't have different shades), but setting that aside: For me, the Light shade was a perfect match to my skin tone. I'm reasonably fair, with rosacea, but I have some color during the summer. This color leans ever so slightly warm, but not at all orange on me (unlike the ridiculously warm "light" shade of Tarte's new blur BB tinted moisturizer). Honestly, it may actually just be neutral on the warm/cool scale, but as my summer skin is a bit on the tan side of "fair" so that's why I think it may lean slightly warm as it's a perfect match for me.

This is a light coverage foundation (almost like a tinted moisturizer, but with slightly more coverage) that feels light and non-greasy. It's not mattifying (I personally don't want mattifying as I have mature skin). It doesn't settle into my fine lines, and it lets my natural skin features show through some, while still evening out my skin tone and hiding the rosacea veins and redness. It wears really wear (this picture was taken after 7 hours of wear). In the picture you can definitely see more of my freckles and sun damage than when I first applied it, but my skin tone is still even and it doesn't get patchy as you wear it (which I really love). It gives me the "my skin but better" look that I prefer for every day wear without creasing, getting patchy, or feeling heavy on my face.

Honestly, this does everything I want. I wish it had some SPF, but at the same time, I'm very sensitive to certain SPF formulas (some of them make my face and eyes burn) so I'm okay not having it. I apply a moisturizer with SPF underneath if I'm going to be out in the sun for more than 15 minutes.

I was surprised by how the Luxe foundation worked for me. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I normally wear Lancôme foundation with a color shade already made. The Luxe foundation went on smoothly and changed to match my skin perfectly! I am used to wearing makeup with a little more coverage because of my age (66), so I was apprehensive about Luxe. The coverage was nice and not heavy-feeling at all. It is buildable, so I did have to add a little more to those sun spots and imperfections. It still did not have the coverage that the Lancôme gives me, but still looked nice. It wore all day and didn’t settle into my fine lines, have dry patches or wear off in areas. There’s not really an overwhelming smell that’s going to bother those sensitive to smells. The only downfall I found is that there’s not very much product in the tube for the price. It would be nice to have a larger tube that holds more product to match the price point. I would buy the Luxe foundation again, especially for during the summer.

a little long but hope it helps- it did not change color whatsoever on my face. I am Caucasian but living in the South my arms and legs stay very tan most of the year. I try to keep my face protected from the sun so it's very pale with red undertones, so I ordered the medium shade hoping I would match up. They also compare this makeup to Estee Lauder makeup which is what I've used for years now and love, other than the price, so I thought I would give this a try. I was super excited to get this and waited for the weekend to test it out so in case I turned a weird shade I could wash it off and start all over again. I put it on, and waited, and waited, and waited... nothing happened at all, no color change, no anything. But I did notice it felt nice on my face, so I decided to go ahead and put my regular makeup on top of it. Once I was done, I must say, my makeup looked fantastic! I mean it always looks pretty good I guess, but this day it looked like it was professionally done and I was fixing to appear on tv or something lol. I really liked the finished/polished look it left me with. I would say this would make an amazing primer for your makeup, but for me, it did not work solely as a foundation makeup whatsoever.

The Luxe color changing foundation is great. I ordered medium as I tan through out the year. Usually color changing foundation is very light to white looking on my skin. But Luxe foundation is perfect. Goes on white but within a few minutes matches your skin tone beautifully. It’s super light on your skin it doesn’t feel caked on your face or give me creases. As an older woman I worried it would increase my fine lines and make my skin orange but the foundation didn’t. It lasts and looks great all day. as I work 10-12 hours a day I was worried like other foundation it would fade but it didn’t. It’s also gives you great coverage. I was skeptical about buying as I originally saw it on TikTok and figured it was just an influencer saying great things but it withheld the test

I am very impressed with this product. It actually stays on a lot longer than I expected. I got the light - if I need more coverage I just add a little extra. It blends so well with my skin tone. And my face looks so much smoother - it doesn’t define any lines or dryness and doesn’t cake up on me after a few hours. Finally a makeup foundation for someone over 50 !

This is not perfect, but it's the closest I've found for my fair skin. In most lights, it looks great. It can look a little bit pink in certain lights, but it's mostly not noticeable and it much better than most makeup, which gives my skin an orange tint. I will buy it again

Love this product. You need as much as they show in the ads, unless you have alot to cover. Such as redness or acne scars maybe. But I was very surprised it works so well. I'm a makeup girly, and this is great. I don't use a brush just my fingers. Again I love the shade and I don't need to pull it down on my neck to h et rid of the chin line of foundation. Also it last all day and I don't knotice any changes of setting under the eye or clumping on my skin.
