It's hard to find lightweight, long-sleeved shirt that aren't some form of thermal underwear or something of that sort. When working on insulation installation I often end up wearing short sleeves and I really regret it. But everything I have with long sleeves is way too hot to wear. So I looked at every store in the area and found that most options would have to be shipped, and I didn't have time for that.
And in looking on Amazon most options either were too heavy, too expensive, or took to long to get here. There was one option available for next-day delivery, so I figured give it a shot, since I'm leaving town to work this evening. They arrived and I tried them on immediately. Interesting that one three-pack is vacuum-packed and the other isn't. I liked the slippery feel immediately. Much nicer that t-shirt material. The large size makes it down to barely on to the backs of my hands when my arms are straight, which is good. And I am wearing one as I sit typing and I'm not overheated the way I would be wearing other fabrics.
Considering the price, these are exactly what I was looking for. And if one gets snagged on nails or staples, the multi-pack makes it so I have a replacement readily available. The only thing I don't like is the neck opening. I keep feeling like I put it on backwards. The back sits fairly high, but so does the front. And it is tighter than my neck likes. But then I don't wear jewelry of any kind for a reason. When working I like to have freedom of movement, and even though this fabric is quite stretchy and flexible, that neck line goes right across the front of my neck. I've attempted to stretch it several times, but it seems really good at returning to its original shape. I'm hoping it loosens up, otherwise these are really nice shirts.
