Solar Bug Zapper 4500V, Waterproof Mosquito Zapper Fly Traps Outdoor Patio

1 week in and it’s doing the thang . Comes on automatically when at dusk . Bright light weight and you can hear when a bug is zapped . Doesn’t run all night. How many hours it run I don’t know ar all I’ve seen it on 5hrs after it comes on . Comes with a usb charger cord brush to clean the grill a chain to hang it anywhere easy to put together no tools needed . Turn off instantly when a light comes on and comes on instantly when it goes out .

Very versatile and don't weigh very much. The appearance is sleek and high-tech. The battery life is great and the solar panel makes it even better. They are plenty bright enough but not so bright that the neighbors wonder what the strange glow is from your backyard ;) I haven't heard any noise from them other than when they zap the bugs. We had an old school bug light before that you had to plug in and it was very cumbersome and very loud when it would zap the bugs.

Right now we have one and we have a third of an acre it's supposed to cover a full acre and it probably does but we want to get one more just to be safe. I like that it has a switch on it that you can turn it off if your dogs get freaked out by a loud popping noises when the bugs get zapped then you can easily get back into the bug annihilator game by switching it right back on. It's great if you live in an area with mosquitoes for sure. It does get full of bugs even from the first use and it's easy to clean.

So far awesome but if you don’t have sound deadening or proof windows, may bother you with zapping noise because it is on the loud side and your are getting this because you have a lot of bugs , right? Holds a charge from the sun very well in SoFlo & works on tiny bugs to big ones. The post mount holes for legs are plastic and do not feel very durable so be careful when inserting legs. The legs are painted galvanized steel I believe . This has 3 large bulbs and is 4500w and IP65 waterproof rated, all great for sunny and rainy Soflo. But we got this after rainy season so cannot attest to later . We live on a large lake and we have midges that hatch very frequently in huge swarms and are smaller than gnats but that is our reason for this purchase. I highly recommend this unit for size, power, wireless, solar charging capability and efficiency. If had it longer I would rate it 5 but just have had a few weeks.

I am a mosquito magnet. My husband ordered this wonderful solar zapper. Minor assembly. He charged it by USB so we could test it out last night. We have had alot of rain this summer. We put it out in area where we get sun during the day. We put it on auto last night. It turned on when it was dark. This morning I checked and WOW . So many mosquitos , a few moths fried. Very pleased.

I could walk thru the mosquito tunnel without being swarmed. Only 1 mosquito tried to land on me. I hope this zapper continues to work for rest of this season .

First off, I'm never the person to write a review. I live in Pearl River Louisiana. Mosquitoes are very heavy here so I bought this thing thinking it was going to help. I put it in the backyard and it did more than help. This thing really does work even though it's small. It still attracts a lot of mosquitoes and it kills all of them. I'm going to buy four more and put it all around my house on my property and I guarantee you I won't have any more bugs. This thing is a must-have

I actually bought this for our chicken coop. However, I’ve also used it in our home. Our AC went out for a couple of days and we just seemed to have an over abundance of flies. So I brought it in and it worked all night and we were fly free by mornin! I think they thought of everything. It runs off solar and it can plug-in C and A adapter. It has an auto button and on button. It hangs or stands and it comes with a chain. It also comes with two little legs with stakes attached that go into the ground in case you want to put it outside and not hang it. It also comes with a long cord that attaches to the solar that can be detached from the solar panel. I thought it was price friendly and so far I can’t think of a place or time where I can’t take it or use. The solar doesn’t last all night if you put it outside and of course it doesn’t work as well when the suns out because the bugs aren’t as attracted to the light it produces. When it’s the only source of light is zaps continuously. I haven’t had it for very long. I usually don’t like doing reviews until I’ve had something for a while. However, so far it’s worked out really well. Very good quality. It’s not heavy and you can put it just about anywhere and it not be on the way. Personally, I love it and wouldn’t mind having another one. very affordable.

Honest Review; Wow! The first night this thing was on Fire! It was zapping like a machine gun then the rain came and the zaps went from rapid fire to single fire and now a sizzle or two every now and then. With that being said it still kills a lot of moths because they are attracted to the light but not like day one. So if you are looking for a bug zapper that starts off great but fizzles after it rains then this is for you. For me this is the 2nd unit and the results were not the same. I wish the 1st one was sustainable and I wish I had video of it zapping bugs you would not believe it. Maybe I got two bad units. But I like the way it looks and the concept

I just recently put this solar bug zapper together a couple days ago, and it did have at least some power to test things out. It was easy to assemble and I put it out during the 4th of July weeknight as I was BBQing. Now usually in the North TX evening when I'm out in the yard, or just chilling on yhe back porch, I get lit up by mosquitoes. My wife can sometimes go untouched, but me no chance at all, do it's quite frustrating. We did hear a few zaps here & there but not like I thought and I'm not quite sure if any of the bugs were mosquitoes. I did make it through the BBQ session with only a couple bites. For the sake of these also very pesky flies here as well, not one zap so far. I'd like to give it a full week of moving it around wherever I'm busy before I can give it another star and updated review. Overall it does seem to be at least working and I've had no issue with the solar charging as of yet. It's also nice to be able to move the device around without an electrical cord. I would recommend this item.
