Dr.Care VistaView 5" Smart WiFi Baby Monitor with 2 Cameras, 1080P Display

We’ve been using this one month for my elderly mother with dementia. We needed a camera where our caregivers who come in could use the monitor while my mother is sleeping and we could use the app to view the camera remotely. We also needed the motion alert on the monitor and the app. Many other cameras seem to only trigger motion alerts on the app. Setup was easy, but be sure to follow the instructions.

The video clarity is excellent, much better than the security cameras we had been using. Our caregivers have been able to use the monitor, although we have to give a short orientation at first. I stuck a Bluetooth tracker on the back to help us find it if it got misplaced.

We did experience an issue about a week ago where the monitor periodically lost connectivity (viewing in the app was fine) and it was about 65 feet away. In the app, I restarted the cameras. And then I restarted the monitor. It’s been fine since then. The monitor remained on an entire 8-10 hour day without losing connectivity - and it was unplugged which shows great battery life.

It’s nice that we can view the camera through the app while it’s being viewed from the monitor. It also allows us to add users to the app so other family members can view remotely if needed and we can all view the camera at the same time. Note that the zoom is a digital zoom and not a true optical zoom, but the quality is still pretty good.

One suggestion is quick way to toggle motion detection on and off. The controls for that are in a couple menus in the settings and we regularly turn it on and off depending on the need at a time. We also turned off motion tracking since it would pick up a fly and move the camera completely away from view of my mother. It would be nice to be able to set a home position on the camera. Overall, it’s been a great camera system and we’re all pretty happy with it.

Easy to set up

Clear picture

Good quality with multi camera support. Really glad it has both a monitor and can be accessed via a mobile application, a feature that was very important to us.

I’ve had my fair share of different monitors I like this one a lot and all the features it comes with. The motion alerts are a little annoying at times. It goes off for no reason when it’s nothing going on. It’s easy to use it’s a great price, no issues with connection except at start up but it never failed in the middle of the night, picture questions is AMAZING probably one of the best ones I’ve ever had. So far so good.

Love it!! The video is so clear!! Love that there is an app as well

This camera cant be beat.. Easy set up and the picture is clearer then I expected!

Great picture quality!

Sound is amazing as well

If you like people from China controlling your monitor whenever they want, then buy this product.

I caught them on a couple occasions completely manipulating the camera, turning it from left to right, and then up and down. The first time I thought it was my husband, the second time I asked him and he said he hadn’t touched it.

Absolutely sick.

Straight to the trash.
